It is possible to perform an early anomaly scan of your baby from 16 weeks. Baby's face, Brain, spine, limbs, kidneys heart are seen to rule out major abnormalities such as spina- bifida. Measurements are taken to ensure baby is growing normally within the womb and position of placenta is noted.

Baby's movements are clearly seen on scan although you may have not felt any quickening as yet.

The scan will be performed abdominally and will take approximately 30 minutes.
