Our mental health directly impacts our physical well-being. In today’s day and age, while every individual is fighting their own battle, health invariably takes a back seat. Unhealthy lifestyles and stress contribute to heart-related disorders. With the Essential heart checkup package understand the status of your heart health. Stay one step ahead, catch the symptoms early and start your treatment in time.
Tests Included:
  • Lipid Profile:

A lipid profile or lipid panel is a panel of blood tests that serves as an initial screening tool for abnormalities in lipids, such as cholesterol and triglycerides. This test may be measured at any time of the day without fasting. However, if the test is drawn as part of a total lipid profile, it requires a 12-hour fast (no food or drink, except water). For the most accurate results, wait at least two months after a heart attack, surgery, infection, injury, or pregnancy to check cholesterol levels.

  • Creatinine Kinase/Creatinine Phosphokinase (CK/CPK):

Also Known As: CK Total CK Creatine Phosphokinase CPK

Creatine kinase (CK) is an enzyme found in the heart, brain, skeletal muscle, and other tissues. Increased amounts of CK are released into the blood when there is muscle damage. This test measures the amount of creatine kinase in the blood.

  • Creatinine Kinase MB/ Creatinine Phosphokinase MB (CK-MB):

Also Known As: CK MB CPK MB
    Formal Name: Creatine Kinase-MB

Creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) is a form of an enzyme found primarily in heart muscle cells. This test measures CK-MB in the blood. CK-MB is one of three forms (isoenzymes) of the enzyme creatine kinase (CK). These isoenzymes include:

    • CK-MM (found in skeletal muscles and the heart)

    • CK-MB (found mostly in the heart, but small amounts found in skeletal muscles)

    • CK-BB (found mostly in the brain and smooth muscle, such as the intestines and uterus)

  • Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH):

This test measures the level of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), also known as lactic acid dehydrogenase, in your blood or sometimes in other body fluids. LDH is a type of protein, known as an enzyme. LDH plays an important role in making your body's energy. It is found in almost all the body's tissues, including those in the blood, heart, kidneys, brain, and lungs.

  • HOMOCYSTEINE LEVEL:

A homocysteine test measures the amount of homocysteine in your blood. Homocysteine is a type of amino acid, a chemical your body uses to make proteins. Normally, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and folic acid break down homocysteine and change it into other substances your body needs. There should be very little homocysteine left in the bloodstream. If you have high levels of homocysteine in your blood, it may be a sign of a vitamin deficiency, heart disease, or a rare inherited disorder.

  • Troponin I:

Also Known As: TnI, TnT, cTnI, cTnT, high-sensitivity troponin, hs-troponin
Formal Name: Cardiac-specific Troponin I and Troponin T

Troponins are a group of proteins found in skeletal and heart (cardiac) muscle fibers that regulate muscular contraction. Troponin tests measure the level of cardiac-specific troponin in the blood to help detect heart injury.

  • Troponin T:

Also Known As: TnI, TnT, cTnI, cTnT, high-sensitivity troponin, hs-troponin
Formal Name: Cardiac-specific Troponin I and Troponin T

Troponins are a group of proteins found in skeletal and heart (cardiac) muscle fibers that regulate muscular contraction. Troponin tests measure the level of cardiac-specific troponin in the blood to help detect heart injury.
