Details of Health Checkup Package - Comprehensive (Female)
In the hustle and bustle of our modern-day lives, we often ignore the care of our health. But the truth is nothing more important than the well-being of a family than individual health. Life in metropolitan cities has an environment that is rife with various health risks and in order to save your most important possession, your health, master health check-ups are required.

A master health check-up is a number of clinical tests utilized to assess the overall health of a person. The master health check-up includes a physical examination ultrasound and laboratory investigations that help evaluate the health of your vital organs and metabolism to identify any early symptoms of diseases to manage individual health better.
What to expect in a Health Checkup Package - Comprehensive (Female)?
There are many measures one can take to prepare for a master health check-up. As your healthcare partner, we will provide you with a list of pre-test preparations associated with the check-up to support optimum effectiveness.

It is crucial if you notice something unusual about your body, make it a point to discuss it with your doctor before the check-up. A master health check-up test can help detect early signs of a debilitating disease that can be treated accordingly.

This package contains 62 parameters. It is a preventive health check-up for evaluating the general health status. Periodic preventive health check-ups are essential to monitor one's health condition and take corrective action at an early stage. It screens for common health conditions related to liver, thyroid, diabetes, kidney, bone, iron, blood, and urine.
General health check-up tests
  1. Liver function tests (LFT): are performed to ensure the proper functioning of the organs and identify any potential diseases that could cause problems if left untreated.

  2. Fasting Blood Glucose (or) Blood sugar: is tested to identify potential diabetes or prediabetes conditions. This test is very important as early detection can prevent the onset of the disease if you make drastic simple lifestyle changes in the early stages.

  3. Glycosylated Haemoglobin (HbA1c):is your average blood glucose (sugar) levels for the last two to three months.

  4. Complete blood count: also known as a full blood count, is a set of medical laboratory tests that provide information about the cells in a person's blood. The CBC indicates the counts of white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets, the concentration of hemoglobin, and the hematocrit.

  5. ESR stands for erythrocyte sedimentation rate. It is commonly called a "sed rate." It is a test that indirectly measures the level of certain proteins in the blood. This measurement correlates with the amount of inflammation in the body.

  6. Thyroid profile (T3, T4, TSH) test refers to a set of blood tests that measures the levels of the thyroid hormones secreted from the thyroid gland. It is also known as the thyroid function test. The thyroid gland is located at the front part of the neck and it produces thyroid hormones namely: triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4).

  7. Renal Function Test without Urine Routine (RFT): is performed to measure the levels of various substances in the blood to determine how the kidneys are functioning.

  8. Lipid profile or lipid panel: is a panel of blood tests that serves as an initial screening tool for abnormalities in lipids, such as cholesterol and triglycerides.

  9. CA 125 This test measures the amount of a protein called CA-125 (cancer antigen 125) in the blood. CA-125 levels are high in many women with ovarian cancer. The ovaries are a pair of female reproductive glands that store ova (eggs) and make female hormones.

  10. Vitamin D is a family of compounds that is essential for the proper growth and formation of teeth and bones. This test measures the level of vitamin D in the blood.

  11. Vitamin B-12 is necessary for several bodily processes, including nerve function and the production of DNA and red blood cells.

  12. Amylase test: measures the amount of amylase in your blood or urine. Amylase is an enzyme, or special protein, that helps you digest food. Most of your amylase is made in the pancreas and salivary glands.

  13. Lipase is a type of protein made by your pancreas, an organ located near your stomach. Lipase helps your body digest fats. It's normal to have a small amount of lipase in your blood. But, a high level of lipase can mean you have pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas, or another type of pancreas disease.

  14. Calcium is a blood test to measure the amount of calcium in the blood. Serum calcium is usually measured to screen for or monitor bone diseases or calcium-regulation disorders (diseases of the parathyroid gland or kidneys).

  15. Iron tests measure different substances in the blood to check iron levels in your body. Iron is a mineral that's essential for making red blood cells. Red blood cells carry oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body. Iron is also important for healthy muscles, bone marrow, and organ function. Iron levels that are too low or too high can cause serious health problems.

  16. Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC): is the main protein in the blood that binds to iron and transports it throughout the body. A transferrin test directly measures the level in the blood. Alternatively, transferrin may be measured indirectly (or converted by calculation) so that its level is expressed as the amount of iron it is capable of binding. This is called the total iron-binding capacity (TIBC).

  17. Urine Routine is a test of your urine. It's used to detect and manage a wide range of disorders, such as urinary tract infections, kidney disease, and diabetes.
